Welcome to the Friends of Onaway State Park or FOOSP!! We are a 501c3 non-profit, voluntary Association established to assist the Onaway State Park in obtaining its goals! This is primarily in the areas of park promotion, park interpretation and resource preservation, including, but not limited to recreational, natural, cultural and educational activities.
Onaway State Park also manages and oversees Tomahawk Flooding East and West State Forest Campgrounds, Tomahawk Lake State Forest Campground, Shoepac Lake State Forest Campground, The Sinkholes Pathway, Bear Den Lake Boating Access site and The Presque Isle County area of the High Country Pathway.
We are a very driven friends group. We would love for all people who enjoy what our park has to offer to become a member. Our park will continue to live on with your support!
