Friends Of Onaway State Park are on a mission to revive the lower bathroom/shower building. If you have had an opportunity to grab a camping spot on the lower level of Onaway State Park, then you have seen this building. This is a costly renovation but a very needed one. This building was built in 1935/1936. Also called the stone campground toilet, designed by Ralph B. Herrick. It is currently closed awaiting remodel and upgrades. It is believed this style structure is the last of its type by this artist, still standing in the Michigan State Park system. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
